It is possible, you just have to retry and try again. Always aim to kill wind elemental first if you are an earth element, fire element for wind, and lightning for water.

I can normally kill the wind, then the fire and lightning spam their AoE turn after turn and kill everyone. Ive been doing nothing but this battle everyday for over a week. You cant debuff them, they have stupid dodge rates, even if you do debuff them they purify every 2 turns maximum. Between 800-1600 damage on their AoE depending on crits, and im lightning element so they dont do bonus damage to me. I have 3400 health, 1000 cp and the rest agility. Its not doable until the secret shop comes back and i can buy serene mind.

Fair take, it took me 4 tries with so-so skill set and a shark skin sword. I guess you're just unlucky, good luck though!
